Erica Goss, Director & Creator
Erica Goss has fifteen years of experience teaching literary arts-based curricula at schools in the San Francisco Bay Area. She is the co-creator of Media Poetry Studio, a poetry-and-film summer workshop for teen girls. As Poet Laureate for Los Gatos, California, she established the Los Gatos Poet Laureate Youth Scholarship for Creative Writing. She received her MFA in Poetry and Nonfiction from San Jose State in 2007. Her latest book is Night Court.
Claire Graman, Instructor, Women in Film & Media
Claire Graman attends University of Oregon, where she is a PhD candidate in English, focusing on Cinema Studies. She specializes in feminist critique, film history, genre, and aesthetics. She loves old movies, podcasts, video games, and making collages.
Max Peters, Instructor, Studio & Visual Art
Max Peters attended the Academy of Art University in San Francisco where he learned under oil painting masters Adam Forfang and Henry Yan. Max specializes in the intersection of digital technology and traditional art disciplines with a special eye for visual storytelling in cartoons, comics, film, and animation. He loves experimental fiction, artsy video games, Disney movies, and he hasn’t met an animal he doesn’t love yet.
Kacie Clark, Instructor, Creative Writing & Photography
Kacie Clark attended the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts where she obtained a degree in English/Communications with an emphasis in photojournalism. She graduated summa cum laude, at the top of her class. She is especially passionate about helping girls find and raise their voices to tell their own unique stories. Kacie loves photography, especially nature photography and ethereal portraiture, as well as books, video games, and cats.
